What Happened to You is a helpful guide at the beginning of your trauma healing journey. It provides simple and straightforward information about what trauma is, how it impacts the mind and body, and how to move forward with your life after experiencing this kind of stress.
Written as a transcript of their muses on trauma, Dr. Perry answers Oprah’s questions on trauma and healing with evidence-based practices while Oprah provides personal insight into the more scientific nature of Dr. Perry’s writing.
This book is for you if you need an overall understanding of trauma and its long-reaching impacts.
