Lina Thelismond, LICSW
Hello! My name is Lina. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 10 years of experience in the human services field. I’ve worked across a variety of settings, including community organizations, group homes, hospitals, and colleges.
My approach to therapy centers on helping clients build a more secure relationship with themselves by strengthening self-trust, reconnecting with their inner voice, and exploring how personal experiences, relationships, culture, identity, and the systems around us shape emotional wellbeing — especially when those influences align, or deeply misalign, with a person’s values.
My therapeutic style is relational, trauma-informed, strengths-based and collaborative. I draw from every tool in my box to help you reach your goal.
In our work together, we may explore your values, build coping skills, deepen self-awareness, and share moments of laughter along the way.
I strive to create a space where clients feel both supported and challenged — a space where pain can be processed honestly while also building practical tools for growth and lasting change.
